After Virat Kohli ducked at zero, fans were shocked and scared of losing the match but it wasn’t the end. As the match came to an end with Jadeja hitting a four, fans took a sigh of relief and jumped for a celebration. The entire nation celebrated this massive victory and so did the team.

Now, cricket fans worldwide are waiting for the IPL season to arrive on 22nd March. The first match will be KKR vs RCB. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have chosen their new captain, the all-rounder Axar Patel, replacing Rishabh Pant as he joined Lucknow Giants last year. Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player as he bagged Rs 27 Cr at the auction.
While there were speculations of KL Rahul becoming the captain, the team finally chose Axar Patel. It is important to note that Patel has previously been a captain for the Capitals once back in May 2024 and has even been a captain, leading Gujarat for 16 T20 matches.
“It is my absolute honour to captain the Delhi Capitals, and I’m deeply grateful to our owners and support staff for placing their faith in me. I’ve grown as a cricketer and a human being during my time here at the Capitals, and I feel ready and confident to lead this side going forward," Axar said on his appointment as DC captain.
