MUMBAI: The Episode starts with Sachin refusing to accept any help from Mamata. She visits the Deshmukh house to contribute money for Sachin and Sayali’s new room. But instead of gratitude, she’s met with Sachin’s pride and resistance. He feels uncomfortable taking financial support, especially from Mamata, which leaves her feeling deeply hurt and humiliated. Mamata walks out, and Riya, disturbed by Sachin’s behavior, confronts him. Sayali, too, gently points out that it wouldn’t be wrong to accept help from a well-meaning relative.

Meanwhile, Renuka completely misreads Sayali’s good intentions. She suspects that Sayali wants Akash and Tejas out of the house so she and Sachin can live comfortably in the Deshmukh home. Sachin is furious at this baseless accusation and lashes out at Renuka for wrongly blaming his wife. Roshni adds fuel to the fire, accusing Sayali of trying to create a rift in the family.
Overwhelmed and angry, Sachin loses control and starts hitting Tejas. Renuka screams at Sachin, calling him selfish. That word hits him hard. Deeply hurt, Sachin reminds her of all that he’s sacrificed for the family—how he spent his childhood in the village just to please her.
As tensions boil over, Paresh steps in to stop the fight among his sons. He pleads with them to end the argument, but Renuka remains adamant. She declares that Akash and Tejas won’t contribute even a single rupee for the room. Her words crush Paresh, leaving him heartbroken.
Sachin, shaken and unable to move past his father’s disappointment, wanders the streets in silence. A glimpse of a boy with his mother triggers memories of his own childhood—of how Renuka once cared for him. Lost in thought, he ends up at his friends’ hangout spot. Staring at a bottle of alcohol, he wrestles with the pain in his heart. Eventually, haunted by Renuka’s cruel words, he gives in and drinks.
Back home, Sayali keeps calling him, but Sachin doesn’t answer. Late at night, he stumbles home, drunk. But Sayali doesn’t scold or question him. She understands the emotional wounds he’s carrying and quietly supports him. Paresh, too, feels helpless watching his son in such a state. Renuka, however, seizes the moment to insult Sachin again. She mocks him, saying he’s like a crooked dog’s tail—never able to straighten.

The noise wakes everyone. No one expected Sachin to fall back into drinking. Paresh asks Sayali to take him to the room, but Sachin, still hurting, can’t hold back. He voices the years of pain caused by Renuka’s mistreatment—not just toward him, but also toward Paresh. Sachin bitterly admits he’s never asked for much—not as a child, and not now. All he ever wanted was respect. Paresh had hoped to give him some by building that room—but now even that hope is shattered.
