Rukhsar Rehman is an Indian actress famous in bollywood and also on television. She started her acting career at the age of 19, with the film Yaad Rakhegi Duniya where she played the lead role opposite Aditya Pancholi (1991). Her second film was Inteha Pyar Ki where she starred opposite Rishi Kapoor (1992). After these roles she didnt got any big banner films until Ram Gopal Varma approached her for his films D and Sarkar. She was looking forward to doing performance-oriented roles. As a child her ambition was to become an IAS officer like her father. She said if she was not working in films she would definitely join the civil service. Apart from films, she is passionate about Sufi music and reading.
