MUMBAI : Adnaan Shaikh is a well-known Indian model, actress, social media influencer, and content creator who rose to prominence mostly on Instagram and TikTok.
Adnaan has also competed in reality TV, placing second in Season 2 of MTV's Ace of Space. He recently made news when he entered Bigg Boss OTT 3 as a 2024 wild card contender.
At the moment, Adnaan Shaikh is embroiled in a major family dispute. Iffat Shaikh, his sister, has lodged a police report (FIR) accusing him of physical abuse. Iffat shares video proof of her father-in-law's injuries, alleging that Adnaan not only attacked her but also her father-in-law.
She has been outspoken on social media, vowing to pursue justice and make sure Adnaan is held accountable.
When asked about Adnaan’s fans claiming that Iffat is bringing out this topic now, during the time when he was getting married and whether she is banking on his fame, Iffat shared, “Look, first I did not know that my parents would be hospitalised at this moment only when Adnaan got married. Nor did I know that I was going to get beaten up when I went there. I went there just to meet my parents. Rather, I would like to question if Adnaan planned all this in advance!
With regards to me banking on his fame, I have no intention to get famous or anything like that. The night I got beaten up I took to my handle and mentioned about the same. Nowhere have I mentioned that people should follow me.”
Iffat’s husband added, “We are not interested in giving interviews. He has hit my wife and father. He can come home and apologise in front of four people. The topic will be over. Those people who have approached me, I am open to give interviews but I am not initiating it.”
