MUMBAI: Karan Johar is the director of the film Ae Watan Mere Watan, which has been in the news for a while. The film, which stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role, is based on the true story of an underground radio station owned and operated by a courageous young lady who, in 1942, changed the direction of India's freedom movement. The character of Sara Ali Khan is inspired by the freedom fighter Usha Mehta.

On March 21, the film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime, with an OTT release. Renowned Notebook novelist Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer of Ek Thi Dayan wrote and directed the film.
The film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O' Neil, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Anand Towari in addition to Sara Ali Khan. In the film, Emraan Hashmi will also have a brief cameo. The producers of Ae Watan Mere Watan are Somen Mishra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar.
While we got to watch the teaser and trailer of the movie earlier, now the makers have released the first song from the movie. The song name is Qatra Qatra. Take a look at the song here:
In the song, we can see a rebellious side of the public who are ready to fight against the British Raj by putting their lives on the line. In the lyrics are really heart-touching and inspirational.
We also get to see Emraan Hashmi’s character in the song and it surely excites us.
