The digital creator recently deleted all her posts and unfollowed everyone on Instagram, and has now announced her comeback with a powerful statement with her Instagram posts, after the ongoing controversy regarding Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent
In one of the two Instagram posts, Apoorva announces her powerful comeback with the post, “Don't take away the story from the story teller”.
Apoorva and all the other panel members faced scrutiny after their appearance on the show India's Got Latent.
In the other post shared by the social media star, Apoorva shared the inhumane comments that people left on her posts and DM’s when she was inactive. While some were grave rape threats, the other even worse in nature, threatening acid attack following the incident for the remarks made on the show.
The cruel comments that Apoorva shared were not even a fraction of what she had received, writing in the caption she said, “and that’s not even 1%”. This shows that sometimes social media is a space where the due course of justice isn’t awaited but online trolls immediately attack with life-threatening slurs.
From character shaming to Rape threats and Acid attack threat, Apoorva has been bombarded by these comments left by the netizens. The social media otherwise stayed divided — while some were against, the others found her statement to be one in retaliation to the contestants.
