MUMBAI: TellyChakkar recently broke the news about actor Arav Chowdharry, who is known for his stint in shows like Mahabharat, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir, Aarambh: Kahaani Devsena Ki, has been roped in for a new series for an upcoming OTT platform Tamasha (Read here: Mahabharat fame Arav Chowdharry bags a web-series!)
Now, we hear that the actor has bagged ZEE5’s upcoming web-series titled Sunflower.
The crime comedy is set in a middle-class housing society in Mumbai called Sunflower. The series is written by Filmmaker Vikas Bahl, the director of Bollywood hit films Queen and Super 30. It is co-directed by Rahul Sengupta and is produced by Reliance Entertainment and Good Co.
There have been reports about comedian and actor Sunil Grover being roped in for this forthcoming series. Grover recently made a small screen comeback with the show Gangs of Filmistaan on Star Bharat, where he played the role of a don named Bhindi Bhai. The actor has also worked in films such as Bharat, Gabbar is Back and Baaghi.

With production underway, Sunflower is slated for an April 2021 release.
