MUMBAI : Actress Jiya Shankar is a well-known name in the television industry. The stunning actress has appeared in several hit TV shows in her long career span.

After trying her hands at different kinds of roles, Jiya has made her debut in the country's most popular reality show. She was seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and the fans were excited to watch her on the show.

Credible sources inform us that Jiya is not her original name either. Born to Surekha Gavli, Jiya’s real name in her early schooling days was Siddhi Maane.

Jiya’s parents got divorced when she was 13.

It was during her days in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Surekha Gavli shared some intimate details about Jiya and highlighted things about Jiya’s childhood. She shared many heartfelt details regarding her life, the troubles she's had to face while growing up.
