MUMBAI :Aaliya Siddiqui rose to fame with her small stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where she was a contestant.
She entered the show with the hashtag #breakingnews which meant her divorce from her ex–husband Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
She had hit the headlines for her divorce as she came out to speak about what she faced in the marriage and the reason for the divorce.
Unfortunately, her stay in the Bigg Boss house was for a short time and she was eliminated in a mid–week eviction.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Aaliya Siddiqui post her eviction and asked her what she has to say about Pooja and Salman Khan telling her that she is playing the victim card and did all the allegations demotivate her to play the game.
You were always accused of something or the other, did that demotivate you or you knew that you would fight back in the game?
I was brought up like this to fight against the odds and stand up for the right so I didn’t have a choice as such. When you say the truth you shouldn’t get scared as nothing will happen so I kept my point ahead. I thought it was a part of the game and I was afraid to stay in Jail because I got scared sleeping in a small room but I did it as I was a part of the show so it never bothered me.
What do you have to say about Pooja Bhatt and Salman Khan telling you to stop playing the victim card in the house?
When Salman Khan told me that I shouldn’t hold on to the topic of my divorce, I could have told I am not but I didn’t get much time. I would have told him it's not true. I told my story when someone came and asked me about it, and I didn’t cash on it.
Pooja said that I am playing the victim card but she is in fact the only one playing it. She is a superstar of the 90s and so successful and then you are using Mahesh Bhatt's name for fame and stating that you are his daughter. Why do you have to take the name? She is definitely playing the victim card.
Who do you think deserves to win this season and who is not fit to play the game?
I feel whoever wins will win with a clean heart and play fair. The winner is always the truthful one. I don’t know who would win or lose. Where the talks are going on about positive and negative, I can’t take only one person’s name because I don’t think it’s right, I would feel I would be biased. I wasn’t fit for the show and hence was eliminated.
Aaliya was evicted by the audience very soon. She was known for her fights and disagreements with Pooja Bhatt.
