MUMBAI: The founder and CEO of OYO, Ritesh Agarwal, shared a heartfelt social media post announcing the pregnancy of his wife, Geetansha Sood. On October 13, the billionaire posted a sweet photo of himself and his wife on X, saying how happy he is to be a parent alongside her. This year, Ritesh and Geetansha were married.
Ritesh penned a long note dedicating his wife, “I met Geet eleven years ago, when I was just a teenager chasing dreams, trying to convince my family that I wanted to build my own company from scratch. There was only one constant who was by my side through it all, and it was her. The highs of happiness and milestones, the lows of pain and loss, we’ve been through so much together.”

He continued, looking back on his experience with Geetansha, “This year, we got married, which was one of the happiest moments of my life. And my family and I navigated through various highs and lows. Now, as Geet and I reflect on (and process) our transition from being children to teenagers to partners, to parents, I couldn’t be more excited.”
On a lighter side, he asked his social media fans for recommendations for "nappies, strollers, and toys." He joked, “If you happen to be a startup with something innovative, even better.” In the forthcoming season of Shark Tank India, Ritesh Agarwal will serve as a judge.
On March 7, 2023, Ritesh and Geetansha exchanged vows. The couple chose pastel colors for their big day. Geetansha chose a pastel-colored, richly embroidered lehenga, and she looked stunning. She accessorized it with a translucent dupatta and a similar blouse. She finished off her appearance with a spectacular necklace, matching earrings, a matha patti, a crimson chooda, and dewy makeup. Ritesh, on the other hand, looked sharp in a white sherwani.
