MUMBAI: Saqib Saleem is making major waves in the entertainment world, and people can't stop talking about him! Known for his impressive range, he's now stealing the spotlight in Crime Beat, where he plays a rookie crime journalist diving into a world of danger and deception. But when it comes to his career, Saqib has a pretty grounded approach—no parties, just hard work and auditions. In a candid conversation, he opens up about how he stays focused, believes in himself, and never compares his journey to others. Here's a peek into his mindset and how he's carving his own path to success!
Saqib Saleem, when asked about his approach towards choosing a character, shared his thoughts on how he navigates his career and the industry. He said, “You don’t have to go to parties to socialize. To get work, you have to audition, you have to meet people, filmmakers, and writers to find the right part for yourself. It’s not that somebody is orchestrating our careers. We have to wake up every day, find our way—find auditions, find our part. It’s my responsibility to believe in myself and be patient. Whatever work I find for myself, I try to focus on just that, rather than looking at others' work. Because then, I will always be unhappy."
In Crime Beat, rookie crime journalist Abhishek Sinha (Saqib Saleem) stumbles upon a high-stakes case involving the return of notorious gangster Binny Chaudhary (Rahul Bhat) to India. As he dives deeper into the investigation, Abhishek is pulled into a dangerous web of crime, corruption, and deception, forcing him to question his ethics. Amid intense rivalries, political pressure, and moral dilemmas, he faces a crucial decision—expose the truth or become consumed by it. Set in Delhi, the series explores the perilous world of investigative journalism and the blurred lines between justice and survival.
