MUMBAI : Upcoming web series and the digital debut of actress Sonakshi Sinha titled Dahaad has been a talk of the town for quite some time now. The web series was in the making for around 2-3 years and finally, the show is ready for the fans and audience to watch. The web series which also has Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, Sohum Shah, Yogi Singha and Sanghmitra Hitaishi is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.
The trailer of the web series is finally out and it definitely has all the elements required for an edge-of-the-seat thriller drama.
Talking about the premise of the web series, it deals with the missing case of 27 girls in a village. To solve this mysterious case, comes Sonakshi Sinha, who plays a cop. On the other hand, we can see Vijay Varma playing a negative character as the man behind the kidnapping. The purpose of all this kidnapping and how the entire team of Anjali Bhaati takes down the killer is what the entire web series is about. The trailer definitely raises the excitement to watch the actress making her digital debut. On the other hand, Vijay Varma is seen in an avatar which is never seen before.

We can expect the show to be high on thrill, drama and suspense. As per what we have seen in the trailer, we can expect the web series to be on a different level and witness some great performances, especially from Vijay Varma, who will be seen playing a negative character in the web series. Also, great BGM in the trailer surely increases your series viewing experience. Also, this marks the digital debut of actress Sonakshi Sinha and hence, it will be a treat to watch the actress in the OTT space. The web series throws light on the unfortunate incidents happening in villages, which directly or indirectly draw lines from true events, which will be a news for the unknown.

It is written by Reema Kagti, Ritesh Shah, Mansi Jain, Sunayana Kumari, Karan Shah and Chaitanya Chopra and is produced under Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films. The show has some great talents like Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, Sohum Shah, Yogi Singha, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Abhishek Bhalerao and Waris Ahmed Zaidi. The show is all set to hit the digital platform Amazon Prime on May 12.
