MUMBAI: ‘Divorce Ke Liya Kuch Bhi Karega’ is not just a catchy name for an OTT series. Rishabh Chadha and Abigail Pande are here to prove it with their amazing yet not-so-loving chemistry. We don’t get to see a lot of clean and family series these let alone be good, clean and family comedy but Ankush Bhatt the director and Ghalib Asad Bhopali the writer, have given us an amazing show to sit and watch with our family.
The comedy show is about the twists and turns that come into lives of Ashutosh (played by Rishabh Chadha) and Nikki (played by Abigail Pande), two reporters who are at loggerheads and trying to become the new prime-time news anchors but accidentally get married.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Rishabh Chadha gave us some interesting insights about this entertaining show and his off-screen chemistry with Abigail Pande.
When asked about the show, Rishabh said, “There are two extremely talented human beings, two journalists that both of them believe that they are the best and in the entire process of proving that, they both get married by mistake. Now they cannot stand themselves or each other rather so now they just get divorced and hence Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega...”
When asked about his off-screen chemistry with Abigail, Rishabh said, “Abi is a sweetheart and I absolutely, I love her. She’s been my friend for the past 12-13 years now which is a long time. She’s an exceptionally good person. In fact, I feel very good working with her and just very glad to have her as my friend. She is extremely uplifting and she will be always looking out for me and it is very easy to discuss scenes with her and we don’t really have to filter ourselves as such. We can discuss, we can criticize. I feel like she brings out the best in me and I’m always very thankful and grateful to her for that. She creates a very comfortable and good space and I would like to believe I do the same for her.”
