MUMBAI: Digital platforms have become the new home theatre for the audiences. Due to the pandemic and lockdown all over the globe, we have seen several Bollywood movies getting premiered on various OTT platforms. Now, it is Durgamati’s turn. One of the most-awaited movies of 2020, Durgamati stars Bhumi Pednekar, Jishu Sengupta, Arshad Warsi, and Mahie Gill in the leads.
The movie is all set for its digital premiere on 11th December on Amazon Prime. Team TellyChakkar exclusively got in touch with one of the leads of the movie Jishu Sengupta to know more about his role in this horror thriller.
While interacting with us, the actor shared his excitement and said that this time too he will be seen in a different avatar. He further shared that his character ACP Abhay Singh is on a mission. Now, what mission Abhay has taken up and what surprises he will get are to be seen in the movie.

Talking more about his character, the actor said that Abhay is a strong and level-headed person who is on a mission.
Well, no doubt that it is always a treat to see Jishu Sengupta in different avatars, and we are eager to see what different the actor has to offer in this thriller.
Durgamati is a remake of the 2018 Tollywood (Telugu) film Bhaagamathie which had Anushka Shetty in lead.
