Sana revealed, “I went inside the house after celebrating Bakri Eid and now a few months later I am observing this Eid. I am really excited to celebrate the day. The day is for Muslims to come together, strengthening bonds of unity and solidarity. I would be meeting most of my relatives and friends. We make sherbet and Khichda, which is otherwise popularly known as haleem. I love Haleem. I wait for this Eid to gorge onto haleem.”
Sana added, “The holiday is known for various traditions, such as reciting poetry, singing devotional songs, and distributing food and sweets. When I was a kid, Maulvis would come and tell the stories of the Prophet. And by the end of the events, he would give us nankhatai. I would only for nankhatai. If there is something I would wish for on this day, it would be to buy a house for my parents and settle them in. I want to ensure that they have a comfortable life.”
