MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail and they would have to play the game and fight for getting bail to survive on the show.
Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show. The actress will be guiding the participants.
Ishaan Seghal, Miesha Iyer, Pratik Sehjapal, and Shehnaaz Gill are possible contestants.
Babita Phogat is one of the confirmed contestants of the show, and she is a well-known wrestler. She has won Olympic medals for our country. She will be playing the game and has the potential to go a long way in the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Babita and asked her about her expectations from the show and the reason why she said yes.
What are your expectations from the show?
I have zero expectations from the show, and once I enter the house, I would know what will happen. Going in with a pre–plan won’t work, and the show is something different and it all depends on how you handle the situation.
People are saying that Lock Upp is similar to Bigg Boss. What is the one reason why you signed the show?
The show is not similar to Bigg Boss and it is very different. I did the show because Kangana is the host and Ekta is the producer of the show. It's all about women empowerment as they are very strong personalities.
How would you handle controversy in the house?
I have come to play the game, and I will do anything to reach the finale of the show. If I go with a strategy and if the situation is different, then the whole plan will fail and I would just give my best in the task.
Well, it will be interesting to see how Babita will play the game.
