MUMBAI: Shriya Pilgaonkar has been winning the hearts of fans over time with her acting contribution. We have seen some amazing characters of hers across platforms winning the hearts of fans. The actress is currently gearing up for the release of upcoming ZEE5 web series The Broken News, which also has Sonali Bendre and Jaideep Ahlawat in the leading roles.

Shriya Pilgaonkar says that a person just read the headline generated by a news channel, but there is so much behind into that particular headline and no one knows the story. How lives are affected and influenced by such news is brilliantly shown in this web series. It was a great experience collaborating with Jaidepp Ahlawat and Sonali Bendre. She has been a huge fan of them, and it was a treat working with them and watching them perform their craft. 

Shriya Pilgaonkar on the high points and the USP of the web series 

Shriya Pilgaonkar says that the show speaks about the honest scenario behind every news and how it is made. All the characters in the web series are completely different, because in the news industry we get to see different types of people. Moreover  the healthy argument between her character with her editor is something amazing to see. It will also show some facts about the news world in an entertaining manner. It has suspense, drama, and thrills and will be definitely loved by fans.

Shriya Pilgaonkar on any bizarre news on her 

Shriya Pilgaonkar says that if she reads any bizarre or any weird news about herself, it makes her uncomfortable. The actress adds that the news makes people think. No matter whatever your point of view is, people will believe what they want to.
