MUMBAI: JioHotstar's new series Hai Junoon – Dream, Dare, Dominate is a vibrant coming-of-age musical drama set in Mumbai’s famed Andersons College. Blending ambition, passion, and self-discovery, the story explores the fiercely competitive world of music and dance, where talent alone isn’t enough—it's the inner drive that sets true stars apart.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the series boasts a dynamic ensemble led by Jacqueline Fernandez as Pearl and Neil Nitin Mukesh as Gagan. The cast also features Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Yukti Thareja, Aryan Katoch, Priyank Sharma, Kunwar Amar, Mohan Pandey, Elisha Mayor, Sanchit Kundra, Sanatana Roach, Devangshi Sen, Anusha Mani, Bhavin Bhanushali, Arnav Magoo, and Yukti Thareja in key roles.

In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam and Priyank Sharma from the cast of Hai Junoon revealed a lot of exciting things. It is said in the industry that friendships don’t last for long. When it was asked to the cast if they have a strong bond with some co-actors from their past projects or what is their opinion about it, they had some responses.
Sumedh Mudgalkar said, “I think hum sab yahan pe kahin na kahin dostiyan karne toh nahi aaye hai. Hum sab yahan pe aaye hai ke humare ghar pe hum chaar paise kamake le ja sake, apne maa-baap ke liye kuch kar sake, khud ke liye kuch kar sake, future mein jo kuch humari life agar banegi jab banegi toh uske liye hum kuch bana sake. Toh mujhe lagta hai ki hum kahin na kahin wohi karne aaye hai toh yahan pe agar connect aapko milta hai toh milta hai, milta hai toh cherish karo. Pehle main sochta tha aisa ‘arey log aise hai waise hai’ but waisa nahi hai. Sab apna apna bhala chahte hai, kuch log kisi alag iradey se aate hai toh aapko pata chalta hai, aapko unko entertain karte ho woh conscious choice hoti hai, aur ache hote hai woh tike rehte hai aapki life mein, kisi na kisi way mein.”
Giving example of him and Siddharth Nigam, Sumedh said, “Kitne saal se hum jaante hai, 10 saal toh h gaye humein ek dusre ko jaante jaante, 10 sal se hum ek dusre ki journey jaante hai but aisa zaroori nahi ke hum humesha ek dusre ki har function pe rahe hai, zaroori nahi ki hum humesha har mahine ek dusre ko milte aaye hai, aisa nahi hai. Humari kabhi kabhi 6-7 mahine ya saal bhar baat nahi hoti but whenever we meet, woh wohi se shuru hota hai. Koi len-den nahi, koi zarurat nahi kuch fakeness nahi kuch nahi.”
