MUMBAI : Casting director and actor Abhishek Banerjee is no doubt one of the most loved actors we have especially on digital platforms. Over the time, we have seen some great characters coming from the side of the actor in different OTT projects, grabbing all the attention of the fans and audience. Recently, the actor was seen in the movie Apurva on Disney Plus Hotstar, which had Tara Sutaria in the leading role.
During an exclusive interaction, actor Abhishek Banerjee spoke in detail about playing different types of characters and being lucky enough to not get typecast by the filmmakers.
Abhishek Banerjee says that there are many actors in the industry who are getting typecast and doing similar types of characters. He has known as a comedy actor, but luckily he has not been typecast. He is really happy and lucky to say that he has always met filmmakers who have given him different types of characters in different movies.
Abhishek Banerjee also says that he has been doing some boyish kind of characters over the time and with the movie Apurva, he is now trying something different and new, where he can portray the masculine (Mard) side of his. He is very happy that he has taken up something new and different this time as well.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Abhishek Banerjee says that he will be seen in the upcoming movie titled Section 84, which has Amitabh Bachchan in the leading role. The actor will be also seen in the upcoming movie Deva, that has Shahid Kapoor and another much awaited movie, Stree 2.
