MUMBAI: Shruti Seth gained popularity when she did the show Shararat. The actress has also been a part of some amazing films like Fanaa, Rajneeti, and a few others. Having said that, Shruti is all gearing up to be seen in the upcoming film Bloody Brothers. 

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with Shruti where she spoke about the film Bloody Brothers. She also spoke about what made her say yes to the project and the characters which she is looking forward to playing on the OTT platforms.

Tell us about your film Bloody Brothers and the response you have been for the trailer of the film?

Well, Bloody Brothers is a black comedy. It starts with crime and how the life of those two brothers played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub get changed. It is a crime drama with a little bit of humor in it. I play the character of Jaideep's wife in the film. Talking about the trailer, the response to it is amazing and the audiences are loving it.

What made you say yes to the project?

I was wanting to work with Applause Entertainment for a very long time. There were a few projects that were offered to me but I couldn't do them because of date issues. The moment they called me to offer Bloody Brothers, I read the script and immediately told them I am doing the film. I personally like dark and black comedy. I love watching such films. So the script was the main reason that I said yes to the project. Secondly, the entire cast and the director that I see in the project. The director told me to see the original series, and when I saw that, I was completely blown away. I immediately called the director and said that I want to do the film.

What are the characters you are looking forward to playing on the OTT platforms?

I would love to do an action film if given a chance. I love doing action scenes and I hope that someone casts me in an action film when my limbs are working. Moreover, I would love to play a small-town character. It will be interesting for me to explore that version of me where I am situated somewhere in a village away from the city. 

Bloody Brothers is a remake of the British television series Guilt. The film is directed by Shaad Ali and features Jaideep Ahlawat, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, Satish Kaushik, and Shruti Seth. The film is all set to premieredon ZEE5 on 18th March 2022
