EXCLUSIVE! I usually do the characters which are not safe: Bidita Bag

MUMBAI: Actress Bidita Bag in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com, talks about her upcoming web series Bhaukaal Season 2. She speaks about her character in the series, the response to the trailer of the show, and how she handles negative comments from the audience.

When asked about the response to the trailer of Bhaukaal 2, the actress said, “We know that the audience has to wait a little longer for season 2 after the release of Bhaukaal. But their wait will be paid off as this season has double action and double drama in it. The response to the trailer is wonderful. Season 1 was so successful and the audience has huge expectations from this season. I am hopeful that they will like this season too.”

Talking about her character in this season, the actress said that in the first season she always stood behind Shaukeen’s character like a shadow. Shaukeen gets killed in the end episode of season one. After his death, her character comes back in a very strong way as she has to maintain the fear of Shaukeen and regain power over the people.

On being asked if she is the biggest critic of her own work or if she is completely a director’s actor, Bidita said, “I do criticize my work a lot so that I can give the best of myself every time. And also because I want to improve myself from the previous work I have done. But I also believe in the director's vision and agree with him.”

When asked about how she handles the negative feedback from the audience, the actress revealed that negative feedback does affect her a lot. “I usually do the characters which are not safe and the audience is bound to dislike me.” The actress further revealed that the audience has used cuss words to describe her characters. But she takes all these negative comments sportingly and moves on.
