MUMBAI: Manav Soneji, who is known for his contribution in Kaatelal & Sons (2020), Gujarat 11 (2019), Moksh (2020), Mere Sai (2018), and Fanney Khan (2018), no doubt always try to do something different with his work. The actor is now all set to be seen in an upcoming web series titled Dil-e-Couch.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Manav with regard to his acting journey. He spoke in detail about his life before coming into the acting world and about the types of characters he looks forward to playing on digital platforms.

Manav Soneji on his acting journey

Manav says that acting was never a part of his plan since childhood. He never thought that he will become an actor in life. Since childhood, he was more into dance. Later, he learned martial arts. He was a black belt in martial arts, but unfortunately, after his medical issues and operation, he had to stop on the suggestion of the doctors. His father of told him to join acting as he himself was a theatre artist. He was very skeptical about the acting line but he chose to try his luck in the industry. Since his debut project Bal Gopal, there was no looking back for him.

Throwing some light on his upcoming web series, he said that this is going to be a complete surprise package for all fans.They will see him in a never seen before avatar. This show is a family entertainer and comedy drama, which will be loved by every family member. It will premiere on 7th October on YouTube.

Manav Soneji on types of characters he looks forward to play on digital platform

The digital platform has been a blessing for many actors and directors, specially after the 2020 lockdown. The actor revealed that he is open to doing any type of characters, but it should be challenging enough, for example, the role of a psychopath.
