MUMBAI: Hemant Kher has been winning the hearts of fans with his acting contribution. We have seen some amazing characters of his in projects like Scam, Whistleblower, and the recently released web series Rudra getting all the love from fans.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, Hemant Kher spoke in detail about the response he is getting for his character in the web series Rudra and on saying yes for the same.

Hemant Kher on the response he is getting for the show

No doubt we have seen a different side of the actor in the web series Rudra, which had Ajay Devgn in the leading role. Hemant Kher says he was initially very scared to play such a character. He was not sure if he could pull off the character. But he got a fabulous response for his character. Fans are loving his role. He has been getting some great comments on his social media handle, for which he is very grateful. Hemant also shared that when his wife saw the series, she was also very angry as his character was such. This is his victory as an actor.

Hemant Kher on what made him say yes for the project

Hemant Kher reveals that despite being apprehensive, he wanted to take the risk. He has been always trying to deliver something different in his projects, and this was something fresh. Moreover, Ajay Devgan, Hotstar, and Applause Entertainment being associated with this project made him say yes.

Hemant Kher on his shooting experience 

Hemant Kher says that he would definitely want to give credit to his director, who gave him so much confidence. It was a great experience working with Ajay Devgn, who is very calm and composed. Ajay as the senior actor was very supportive and collaborative. Although this character was psychologically and physically very tiring, the entire shooting process was very smooth.
