MUMBAI: Mihir Ahuja is an Indian actor and model. He is best known for his roles in TV series Bard of Blood, Mission Over Mars, Taj Mahal 1989 and Feels Like Ishq. Ahuja has been active in the acting industry since 2018.
He will soon be seen in the second season of Lionsgate Play’s ‘Feels Like Home’ alongside Prit Kamani, Anshuman Malhotra and Vishnu Kaushal.
Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actor and got to know some interesting insights.
How is the second season different from season 1?
“First season shows all the boys coming together from different cities and households. It’s about how they live together under one roof and feel like home. Second season is about maintaining that home as a home. All the characters are going through a lot and it’s like a roller coaster ride in season 2. For my character Akhil Gandhi, he thought he was not good enough in the first season. He is exploring different things. There are even fights happening amongst the four of us, there’s love too. You’ll get to see an amalgamation of different emotions in this season.”
What has your character journey been like?
“The journey has been difficult for him. He is from Ghana and an NRI, brought up in a Gujarati family. After coming to India, he sees a lot of educational and cultural differences. So he takes time to adapt to the surroundings but as he meets the other three boys, things get a little easier for him. He finds family in them. We see a growth in this character in season two. We also see a downfall for him as it is mentally challenging for Akhil to not pursue cricket as he has always been passionate about it. He is still passionate about what he does and wants to work and figure out things as he moves ahead in life.”
How was your experience working on the film ‘The Archies’ alongside Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor with Zoya Akhtar being the director?
“It was really nice working with Zoya Akhtar. Any actor would want to work with her and it was a dream come true for me. All the actors are really good and talented. We even had a workshop before we started shooting for the film. We had workshops for singing, dance and acting. We share a good bond and I am really enjoying being on the sets of The Archies. It is like a learning process for me.”
The second season of the series ‘Feels Like Home’ is set to hit the platform Lionsgate Play on 7th October.
