MUMBAI:Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub is one of the most talented actors we have in the industry. He has been a part of many interesting OTT series like Rangbaaz, Tandav, Scoop, and others.
Well, OTT censorship has been discussed for the past many years. Many people feel that there should be censorship on OTT.
TellyChakkar recently interacted with Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub and asked about his take on OTT censorship, to which the actor said, “This is a very complex thing. See we don’t have anything like censorship; the board that we have is a certification board. Everyone says Censor board has said this, but that is a certification board, and I think certification should definitely be there. I have not shown my daughter any work of mine yet because the films that I have done are not to be seen by kids under the age of 12, they all are to be seen by 12+. So, I think the age thing should be cleared.”
“As far as censorship is concerned, there are people and people will have agendas, so censorship becomes a dangerous weapon. I don’t agree with the idea of censorship. I think certification should be there for sure, but not censorship,” he added.
Further talking about his upcoming projects, he revealed, “There are a lot of things. I have Joram, Sam Bahadur, Haddi; then there’s a show of Prakash Jha called Laal Batti. So yes, there are a lot of things and this year maybe three to four things will be out. Sam Bahadur for sure is coming this year.”
