Exclusive! My character has zero dialogues, and my theatre experiences have helped me a lot for this one: Namit Das on Aafat-E-Ishq

Namit Das is all set for his upcoming horror comedy titled Aafat-E-Ishq, which also has Neha Sharma in the leading role. And here is what the actor has to say on his character and the preparation.

Namit Das is known for his acting contribution across different platforms. We have seen some amazing characters played by the actor getting an amazing response from fans. He is now all set to be seen in the upcoming ZEE5 movie Aafat-E-Ishq, which has Neha Sharma in the leading role.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Namit Das with regard to his upcoming movie and the character played by him.

Namit Das on choosing this movie in specific

Namit says that it was the fantastic cast that triggered him to do this movie. The cast is brilliant. The writing is also one of the major reasons he wanted to be a part of this project. Throwing some light on his character, he said he will be seen playing the character of Atmaram, and he has no dialogues in the movie. Atmaram is a fan of Kishore Kumar in the movie, and fans will listen to his voice only through a song.

Namit Das on preparation for his character

The actor said that he has done theatre, and during his theatre days, he has done many roles that did not require voice but body language. As this character did not require any dialogue but only his physical appearance, he says his theatre journey helped him a lot to give his best to this character. He has also given his voice to two songs in the movie.

Namit Das on the most challenging project of his life

On asking about the most challenging or difficult project or character in his career, Namit says that it was not challenging but the way it had to be shot was difficult. He spoke about the project Suitable Boy, which was one of the toughest journies of preparation for the character, as he had to get the essence of the language used in the movie according to that era. He also learnt shoe making for the project.

Namit Das on negative comments from the fans

Namit Das says that no matter how much you avoid negative comments, it will definitely affect you. But as an actor, you have to listen to the comments at the surface level and later try to give your best shot according to what fans want. Listen to the comments to a certain point and later move ahead with your work and try to focus to deliver your best.
