MUMBAI: Antara Biswas, who is popularly known for her stage name Monalisa, has made a mark in the Hindi television industry. She has appeared in many movies and television serials. The actress has also worked in Bhojpuri and Bengali industries. She has also appeared in other regional language movies like Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Most importantly, Monalisa participated as one of the contestants in Bigg Boss season 10. She rose to fame with her role of Daayan Mohana Rathod in the show 'Nazar' aired on Star Plus. She was last seen in Namak Issk Ka that aired on Colors TV. She played the character of Iravati Verma.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress where she revealed about her ‘first times’.
The first time you had a crush on someone?
Can’t tell you the real one but yes, I can tell you about my crush on an actor. In the past, I used to love Akshay Kumar.
The first time you went out on a date?
I’ve not been on a lot of dates actually. We met directly on film sets while working in Dulhe Raja (which was a Bhojpuri film). While shooting for the film, we started liking each other and started talking. After 3 months, we started living together.
The first time when you saw yourself on a hoarding?
It was a Bengali web series that came just before ‘Nazar’ and the name was ‘Dupur Thakurpo 2’. I always wanted to start my career from there but since things didn’t go well at that time, I left Kolkata and came to Mumbai. I didn’t get a lot of opportunities from there. Hence, when I was offered this Bengali web series after so many years and went for it’s shooting, I hadn’t realized that they were going to release it on such a huge scale. I was everywhere, all over Kolkata, wherever I used to go. I got used to see myself and felt so happy. After that came Nazar, for which I was all over India.
The first time you earned your first salary?
It was when I used to work in Kolkata. I used to work in a restaurant, Vineet, which is still there. I used to work there as a hostess and get Rs. 3750 per month.
