EXCLUSIVE! “Would love to do horror comedies” – Emraan Hashmi on types of movies he looks forward to doing, his relation with horror movies, and much more

At the trailer launch of his movie Dybbuk, Emraan Hashmi spoke in detail about the types of horror movies he is looking forward to doing. He also spoke about his relation with horror movies.

MUMBAI: The trailer of Emraan Hashmi and Nikita Dutta starrer horror flick titled Dybbuk which is a Hindi remake of Malayalam movie Ezra is finally out. The trailer was launched on 20th October with a Press Conference in Mumbai. At the trailer launch, the actors spoke in detail about the movie. 

Indeed we have seen actor Emran Hashmi in many horror flicks. How can we forget his horror movies like Raaz: The mystery continues, Raaz 3, Raaz reboot, Ek Thi Daayan and now the actor is back with this genre with the movie Dybbuk. Talking about his relationship with horror movies, the actor says that his relationship with horror movies will be never-ending. The actor also expressed that he is looking forward to doing different types of horror movies and he would surely love to do horror-comedy. 

Emraan Hashmi also says that he has done so many horror movies that he is now desensitized with horror subjects and ghosts. These movies have made him strong and Fearless when it comes to ghosts. 

The actor is also known as a romantic hero. When asked about his favorite between romance and horror stories, the actor said that Romance will be his first love forever as he began his career with love stories and not horror.

About his upcoming movie Dybbuk, Emraan Hashmi revealed it is a first of its kind movie, the makers have used international aesthetics for filming this movie and the audience will get the international feel while watching this movie. Throwing some light on the premise of the movie, the actor said the story is based on a couple who goes on holiday in Mauritius to overcome the tragedy of miscarriage they had gone through. And how they deal with some weird things after discovering a box will be amazing to watch.
