MUMBAI: Gajendra Chauhan is a well-known senior actor in the television industry, mainly famous for his role in the mythological series Mahabharat (1988–90), where he essayed the role Yudhishthira.

He has also done a lot of cameos in many blockbuster Bollywood movies. He was also appointed as the chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), which sparked controversy and opposition by FTII students, leading to his resignation in October 2017.

It been quite a while that Gajendra has taken up any project as an actor.

On the other hand, Kishori Shahane is a very well know Marathi (movie actress). She has also been a part of many television shows and Bollywood movies.  

She was a part of reality show Bigg Boss Season 2 (Marathi) and she fared pretty well in the game.

Currently, she is seen in the most successful television show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, where she essays the role of Bhavani.
