MUMBAI: Director Gautham Menon has been keeping himself busy during the lockdown. After releasing a 12-odd-minute short film titled Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn, the filmmaker unveiled a new music video titled Oru Chance Kudu. Now, the good news is that the filmmaker will be directing a web series for Amazon Prime Video.
Reportedly, the Enai Noki Paayum Thota director pitched his story to the OTT platform and they have agreed to bankroll the project. Ace cinematographer PC Sreeram has been signed on to crank the camera for the web series.
The OK Kanmani cinematographer took to Twitter to confirm the news and added that he is eagerly waiting to kickstart work soon after the lockdown ends.
He wrote, "My next project after the lock down is over will be with Gautham Menon for a web series. It’s for Amazon. Waiting to start work after a long gap due to this corona. Hope the world will be a better place for all of us. @menongautham (sic)."

Gautham Menon is now fine-tuning his script and is waiting for the lockdown to get over so he can start filming. The cast and crew of this untitled web series will be finalised in the coming months.
Recently, Gautham Menon, in an Instagram session, said that he has completed the script of Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu 2. However, he is yet to approach Kamal Haasan, who played the lead role in the prequel. The filmmaker also announced that he was working on a love story with two characters, Kamal and Kadambari.
Apart from these two projects, he also announced that he has Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 2 in the pipeline.
