Your performance as Harry was loved by everyone in The Zoya Factor. How did that film change your life?

Yes, my performance was really appreciated by critics and the people in the fraternity, and I was very happy. I am a theater actor, so that film gave me an assurance and I can’t thank the casting director of the film, Shruti Mahajan enough for giving me that opportunity. What it changed for me was that it made me believe in myself even more, and it gave me a validation that I do belong here and I am here to stay.

You are a part of YRF’s web series, so tell us something about it.

I can’t really speak about it much. It’s called The Railway Man and my track is with Raghubir Yadav sir. The series is based on the Bhopal gas tragedy; that’s all I can say.

As you are a newcomer, do you have a list of directors and actors/actresses you wish to work with?

I want to work with Rasika Duggal, Tabu ma’am, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Naseer Bhai (Naseeruddin Shah), and I even want to work with people internationally. In directors, I would like to work with someone like Zoya Akhtar, Mira Nair ma’am, Anurag sir (Kashyap), Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Rahul Chittella again if possible.
