MUMBAI: JioHotstar's new series Hai Junoon – Dream, Dare, Dominate is a vibrant coming-of-age musical drama set in Mumbai’s famed Andersons College. Blending ambition, passion, and self-discovery, the story explores the fiercely competitive world of music and dance, where talent alone isn’t enough—it's the inner drive that sets true stars apart.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the series boasts a dynamic ensemble led by Jacqueline Fernandez as Pearl and Neil Nitin Mukesh as Gagan. The cast also features Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, Yukti Thareja, Aryan Katoch, Priyank Sharma, Kunwar Amar, Mohan Pandey, Elisha Mayor, Sanchit Kundra, Sanatana Roach, Devangshi Sen, Anusha Mani, Bhavin Bhanushali, Arnav Magoo, and Yukti Thareja in key roles.

In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam and Priyank Sharma from the cast of Hai Junoon revealed a lot of exciting things. There are times when fans wish to see Siddharth Nigam and Sumedh Mudgalkar once again return to TV but then comes report that either their budget is not suitable or they are not okay with the content. But’s what’s the truth?
Sumedh Mudgalkar opens up about this and says, “I think it’s just the mean, the medium of it, the way it’s shot, right? For example, sochiye aap 1 saal, 2 saal, 3 saal, 4 saal ki commitment utha sakte ho? Uthayiye, kijiye, by the end of the day jo usse fayda hona hai aapka hona hai, nahi hona hai toh aap ka nahi hona hai but the thing is that mujhe realise ki 4-4.5 saal kaam karne ke baad ki main personally jaisa operate karta hu it’s a very personalized thing, mere saare ache dost TV me bhi serials karte hia, movies mein bhi kaam karte hai, web series bhi karte hai, kuch aise bhi dost hai jo kaam nahi karte, woh khush hai. Toh farq nahi padta mujhe use. Mujhe aisa lagta hai na ki zyada preparation, kuch time ka shoot mein hum zyada better hum kar sakte hai daily basis pe kaam karne se woh kahin na kahin aapke passion jo hai over-utilize ho jata hai.”
He added, “Main jo seekha hu, Television se hi seekha hu. Whatever I’ve learnt, agar koi bolta hai, otherwise koi bolta hai, woh unka call hai, unka experience hai. Imagine being in a school of work. Every single day you have different of scenes and you need to perform and you are practicing every single day. Isn’t that beautiful? So I think I learned everything I learned from doing television. And the barriers that created are not created by us and so we shouldn’t believe in them. We should just believe in art and give our best.”
