MUMBAI: Applause Entertainment will soon launch a series titled Scam 1992, which will be directed by Hansal Mehta.
The project is based on journalist Sucheta Dalal’s book, The Scam, and will unfold the story of the 1992 Stock Market Scam involving Harshad Mehta.
Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthary will play the lead roles.
Now, we have information that Kartik Krishnan will be a part of the series.
Kartik has acted in films such as The Girl in Yellow Boots, Bombay Talkies by Dibakar Banerjee, Dheepan by Jacques Audiard, and Solo by Bejoy Nambiar. He was also one of the early founding members of the cinema blog, PassionForCinema.com.
He has been a creative producer at Pocket Aces as well.
