MUMBAI: ZEE5’s new spy-thriller original film ‘London Confidential’, starring Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli, will premiere on September 18.

Shot in London, the narrative is set in a post-pandemic world where a series of Indian agents are murdered in the city. It’s up to RAW officer Uma (Roy) to expose the mole in their own ranks.
Produced by Ajay G Rai and directed by Kanwal Sethi, London Confidential also stars Kulraj Randhawa, Parvesh Rana, Sagar Arya, Diljohn Singh, Kiren Jogi and Jas Binag.
Roy said in a statement: “The best gift of working on this film was to learn from Kanwal Sir and sharing screen space with Purab. We had such a fun time shooting all the scenes together. It is a spy-thriller franchise with a stirring plot and lively characters passionate about what they do.”

Kohli added: “I’m excited about my role as Arjun, who is a RAW agent. Action, spy, thrill, a mole in the system. Looking forward to what people feel about seeing me in this new avatar. I really enjoyed Kanwal’s collaborative style of working.”

After a halt in conventional production due to the pandemic, ZEE5 is looking to return in full swing with titles such as Naxalbari and Poison 2.
