The movie explores the dark underbelly of sexual exploitation in some spiritual groups and is based on the Maharaj libel case. In addition to Shalini Pandey, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharvari, the film also stars Junaid. This is the first movie that Netflix and YRF Entertainment have worked on together, and it is directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra.

Both reviewers and fans adored the movie. Despite going through a lot of controversy, the film's success has not been impacted. Karsandas Mulji, the journalist and reformer, is portrayed by Junaid Khan. Many people love him and commend him for his acting abilities.

In an interview with the well-known news website, Junaid Khan discussed his family's initial thoughts on his feature debut. He shared his perfectionist father, Aamir Khan's words regarding his work.

He said, "They really liked the film. See, I don't know about perfectionist but when papa watches a film, he watches it to enjoy it. He always wants to enjoy it. So, he really liked it. But mom is a tougher nut to crack. However, she also really liked the film. They were really happy."

Despite receiving no significant promotion, he also talked candidly about the responses and love he is receiving for the movie. He said, "It is very heartwarming. I am getting a bit used to it now." Regarding his upcoming projects, actor Khushi Kapoor will next be seen with Junaid. It's a romantic comedy that's based on the popular Tamil movie Love Today.
