MUMBAI: Munawar Faruqui, a comedian and singer, has begun filming his first web series, "First Copy." He described his acting debut as a "exciting challenge." Munawar said, “I am thrilled to be embarking on this new journey as an actor with First Copy. It's an exciting challenge, and I'm eagerly waiting for the audience to see this new side of me.”
He further added, “The love and support I've received so far have been overwhelming, and I hope to make everyone proud with this web series.”
This year's Eid brought viewers to 1999, when DVDs started to become popular, with the online show's preview. It provided a glimpse into the world of pirates. The movie, which was written and directed by Farhan P. Zamma, is co-produced by Salt Media and Kurji Productions. 2020 marked the beginning of Munawar's journey when he posted the stand-up comedy video "Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat." After that, he and Indian musician Spectra launched their debut single, "Jawab."
