MUMBAI: Juhi Parmar is a popular television face. The actress is known for her performance in the TV show Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan which ran for around seven years. She is now all set for her OTT debut with the series Yeh Meri Family.
Recently, during an interaction with the media, while talking about her OTT debut, she stated, “This show reminds me of my childhood because this is based in the 90s. I was getting many offers but I wanted to start with a show and in fact would like to continue with the shows where my heart is there and I can relate to it.”

“When I was narrated the story of Yeh Meri Family and when I came to know about my character, it was so relatable that I was transferred to my childhood. So, I was like I will be going back to the time of my childhood, but will play the role of my mother. It is very relatable in terms of emotions, love of family, and the nuances that were there at that time, and in today’s time we miss that. So, it was very feel-good and heart warming that as soon as I heard the script I knew that I want to be Neerja (her character name),” the actress added.
Yeh Meri Family also stars Hetal Gada and Rajesh Kumar, and it is slated to premiere on 19th May 2023.
