MUMBAI: We recently reported about actor Ravi Chhabra being roped in for ALTBalaji’s upcoming medical crime thriller titled LSD- Love, Scandal and Doctors (Read here: Ravi Chhabra bags ALTBalaji’s LSD- Love, Scandal and Doctors )
Now, we hear that model and actress Neha Hinge, who was recently seen in web-series Nail Polish and will soon be seen in film Tandav, has been roped in for the series. Starring Rahul Dev in the lead, the medical thriller will explore the themes of power, politics, nepotism and competition and will lure to be the best.
The story revolves around a murder and finding out whether it was planned or accidental. What adds to the mystery is that the one’s charged with the incident are five interns at a hospital. Whether they are saviours or traitors of life forms the story, as per the official plotline.
The cast also includes actors Punit J Pathak, Srishti Rindani, Tanaya Sachdeva and Pulkit Makol.
LSD - Love, Scandal and Doctors will be helmed by Saqib Pandor, who has previously served as an assistant director on Netflix series "Sacred Games" and Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet".
Ravi, who has been a part of shows like Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Muskaan, Vikram Betaal, Vignaharta Ganesh, and Kundali Bhagya, confirmed being part of the series.
The series is already on floors and is expected to launch sometime this year (2021).
