Now, A Web Series On The Most Dreaded Smuggler India Has Ever Seen

Series starring Kishore as ‘Veerappan: Hunger for Killing’, including artists from Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema.

MUMBAI: AMR Ramesh (Cyanide, Game) is all set to bring a 10 part series starring Kishore as ‘Veerappan: Hunger for Killing’, including artists from Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema.

The series will be premiering in four Indian languages. ‘Veerappan’ music is composed by Vijai Shankar. Vijay Milton and Vaidy S will be working as cinematographers. Other cast including Ravi Kale, Sampath, Raai Laxmi, Viayalakshmi, Suchendra Prasad, will join for a 30 days schedule.

Ramesh felt he couldn’t give justice to the subject in ‘Attahasa’ which was on the same subject but will be able to do so with the scale of the project expanded with less restrictions.

He aims to discover the atrocities with stories of Shanker Bidari, Kempaiah, Harshavardhan Raju, Jyothi Prakash Mirji, Madhukar Shetty, along with IPS officers Ravindra Prasad, Harishekaran, Ramkrishna Prasad, Bava, BB Ashok Kumar, Prabhkar Barki, Soudhagar, Nagaraj, BK Shivram, and others who encountered Veerappan.

The 60 day scheduled shoot will begin from August 10th under government safety measures and protocol in Bengaluru and forests of Karnataka.

AMR Ramesh will be showing ‘Veerappan’ to international market as a sample to go on to his next project currently on hold called “LTTE” based on the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi is planned as a 100 episode series as of now. It is backed by actor/producer Rana Daggubatti (The Ghazi Attack, Baahubali).
