MUMBAI: Actor Durgesh Kumar has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He starred in the 2014 movie Highway alongside Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda. The audience responded favorably to Durgesh's portrayal of Bhushan Kumar, also known as Banrakas, in the web series Panchayat.
After years of struggling in the city, the Panchayat actor has finally purchased his own flat in Mumbai.
Durgesh Kumar used Instagram on July 31 to inform his fans of the news. Durgesh included a photo of his new apartment's keys in his post.

"Aapna Ghar..... Mumbai main thanks (sic)," an excerpt from his caption read.
Congratulations started pouring in on Durgesh Kumar's latest update on Instagram. Many netizens dropped their reactions to his post while wishing the actor.
"Congratulations sir, I hope you achieve many more and keep entertaining us," a fan wrote. An Instagram user commented, "Bht bht Mubarak."
A comment reads, "Sir ka Phulera ka ghar." An Instagram user quipped saying, "Dekh rha hh Vinod bhaiya ji khud ka ghar le liye Mumbai mein Congratulations."
"You deserve more," one of the comments read.
Durgesh Kumar has previously disclosed to Digital Commentary that he had tried out for the TVF series Panchayat as a photographer.
However Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, the writer of Aspirants, was the photographer, and Durgesh eventually portrayed Bhushan Kumar (Banrakas) in the series.
Durgesh Kumar earned Rs. 10,000 for the first season of Panchayat, which included flights, food, and lodging provided by the show's makers.
Jitendra Kumar plays the main part in the series Panchayat. Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav are important characters in the series. In supporting parts are Chandan Roy and Faisal Malik.
The third season of the series debuted on Amazon Prime Video in May 2024 and has been streaming ever since.
Additionally, Durgesh Kumar has appeared in films such Bhakshak, Laapataa Ladies, Bahen Hogi Teri, Sultan, and Freaky Ali.
