In an Instagram story shared by the actress, she reposted a reel of the second installment of the franchise, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Taapsee tagged the writer of the successful franchise, Kanika Dhillon and wrote, “Missing the pagalpan, Pandit ji What say?,”
Taapsee Pannu is the only actress in India who is carrying a full fledged OTT franchise on her shoulders. With each part of the mystery romance raising the bar higher and higher it's only fair that the 2024 streaming superhit, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba gets another installment.

Further adding to the thread of stories Taapsee reposted Kanika’s instagram story, this time the actor has a question for the audiences. The actor posed a question to the audience with, “What twist are you expecting in this unexpected in life of Rani this time.”
No official announcements have been made but all the clues lead to the same conclusion. The anticipation of this franchise was anyways at a high and with the Lead actor and the writer dropping hints on the renewal of this superhit franchise, the wait for the official announcement has started.
While speculations fly around the next part of Haseen Dillruba franchise Taapsee Pannu has announced her next film, Gandhari. The action thriller completed its shoot in march 2025 and is all set to release this year. Taapsee’s collaboration with Devashish Makhija in an action thriller has the audiences on toes with this project.
