MUMBAI: Run, an OTT-specific film, is all set to release on Telugu-language streaming platform ‘Aha‘ from May 29.
Directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna, the Telugu original will feature Navdeep and Pujita Ponnada. It’s the first ‘Telugu original OTT film’.
The psychological thriller revolves around the story of a couple, wherein the wife dies and the husband is conjectured to be one of the suspects.
However, the husband doesn’t spiral under the constant interrogations and sets out to find the real killer.

Run isn’t one of those movies that are turning to OTT platforms due to the pandemic. In fact, Chenna worked on the movie exclusively to be released on an OTT platform.
'It wasn’t like we made the film and due to COVID-19 situation, opted for a digital release. In fact, we had worked on the film and were planning to première it late March, but the digital intermediate and a few other post-production tasks took time since people began working from home in March,' said chenna to The Hindu.
Produced by Krish Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy, the movie has cinematographer Sajeesh Rajendran and music composer Naresh Kumaran in the team.
