MUMBAI: Here we are back another exciting update from the world of digital.
TellyChakkar has been on the forefront reporting exclusively about MX Player’s upcoming web-series which was earlier titled Virgin Neev however as per latest update the title has been changed.
The web-show is based on social mental issues having a very interesting storyline.
We recently wrote about Dilli Darlings fame Rashmi Sachdeva and Manya Pathak being roped in for the show (Read here: Dilli Darlings fame Manya Pathak to star in MX Player's next)
Now, we hear that actress Shafaq Naaz, who is known for her characters in shows like Chidiya Ghar, Mahabharat, Mahakali- Anth hi Aarambh hai and many more, has been roped in for the series.
Our sources inform that Shafaq will have an interesting role to play in the project.
The series is penned down and directed by Arzad Naaz. We already broke the news about actors namely Rishabh Sinha, Shiny Dixit, Kashish Kapoor, Akshita Agnihotri, Priyanka Banerjee, Anveshi Jain and Riya Sen being part of the project.
An MX Spokesperson denied the news saying - "There have been reports about an upcoming web-series which was titled Virgin Neev, the name of which apparently has now been changed and is due to stream on MX Player. However, we at MX Player haven’t locked any show/series of this name or otherwise with the cast/crew mentioned in this story."
