MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular show Qubool Hai is soon returning with a new season and the rebooted version will continue to star Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in the lead roles. The show will have a digital launch on ZEE5.
We broke the news about Gul Khan who helmed the show will not be producing the sequel. As we broke the news about renowned writer Mrinal Jha, who is quite veteran in industry and has also produced a show Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha on Star Plus, has come on board to finance the show under her banner NAJ Productions.
We hear that it will be going on the floor this November. Slated for a January release, the new season will hit your screens as a web-series of 10 episodes on ZEE5.
The 856 episodes show that had become a staple on every Indian small screen for almost four years will now spur its magic on your smart screens and will kick in the nostalgia especially among fans who’ve missed the camaraderie of Karan and Surbhi, their banter and the hard-to-unnoticed chemistry.
