MUMBAI: TellyChakkar recently broke the news about popular actress Karishma Tanna bagging Amazon Prime’s upcoming web-series which will be an episodic (Read here: Karishma Tanna bags Amazon Prime’s next )
Karishma, who last shot for ZEE5’s upcoming spy thriller titled 'Lahore Confidential', will play one of the leads in the Amazon Prime series.
Now, we hear that Bollywood actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi will also be part of the above-mentioned Amazon Prime’s upcoming web-series.
According to our sources, she will depict the role of a lawyer in the project.
Suchitra rose to fame with Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. She had given up her showbiz career for early marriage and she returned after ten years later in the film My Wife's Murder (2005), opposite Anil Kapoor. She was last seen in the film Romeo Akbar Walter.
We could not get through Suchitra for a comment.
Amazon Prime recently launched political drama series Tandav and has a list of series lined up namely Mumbai Diaries 26/11, The Family Man season 2 and Made in Heaven.
