MUMBAI :Hotstar web series Taaza Khabar which has Bhuvan Bam in the leading role has been the talk of the town ever since the trailer was out. No doubt right from the trailer the fans were looking forward to seeing Bhuvan Bam in this web series after his previous work Dhindora. The show has finally hit the digital platform Disney+Hotstar and here is the complete review of the web series.
Talking about the premise of the web series, it revolves around the main character Vasant (Vasya) which is played by Bhuvan Bam who is financially not at all stable and has big dreams for his mother and his lady love which is played by Shriya Pilgaonkar, one fine day his life changes when he gets shocking surprise when comes to know that he has got a blessing, a boon that he can see event happening in future. How Vasya will make use of this power and what sort of difficulties are waiting for him is shown in the web series.
Talking about the direction which is given by Himank Gaur it is strictly average and the locations covered in the web series are realistic and are a treat to watch, on the other hand the story writing is decent but the series looks a little stretched.
Talking about the performance no doubt it is out and out Bhuvan Bam show, indeed we are going to see the actor in a never seen before avatar also the performance of the actor will give you the references of different Bollywood movies, but he was decent on his part, on the other hand actress Shriya Pilgaonkar as sex worker and love interest of Bhuvan Bam was decent on her part but has nothing new to offer. Actor was J. D. Chakravarthy was underused in the show, we get to less of the actor, on the other hand actors like Nitya Mathur, Shilpa Shukla, Deven Bhojani, Prathamesh Parab, Mithilesh Chaturvedi were decent on their part.

Talking about the positive point of the web series, it has to be the premise and the concept which is something exciting, also the performance coming from this side of Bhuvan Bam is a treat to watch. On the other hand the locations covered were raw and realistic which will definitely enhance your web series watching experience. The BGM of the web series is the high point and the USP of the web series which plays throughout the web series.
Talking about the negative point of the web series definitely has to be the screenplay which dips a lot in between and you may feel bored at a few scenes, many scenes are a little stretched and unwanted but the strong performance comes to rescue. There are unnecessary uses of abusive language which are not required that should have been trimmed also the entire story line and few scenes will definitely give your reference of many other Bollywood movies which we have seen and loved earlier.
Well having said all these points no doubt it is a treat to watch the actor Bhuvan Bam in this web series and this show can be watched only if you are a Bhuvan Bam fan
