The season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show will begin from tonight and the viewers are excited for all the upcoming episodes already.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, we asked the cast of The Great Indian Kapil Show about how they felt when instead of enjoying the success of season 1, they had to give statements that season 1 IS a success.
To this, Archana Puran Singh said, “We felt very stupid and silly. Imagine, there is a saying that you are innocent until proven guilty, humko pehle hi guilty kar diya fir now we have to prove our innocence ki bhai humara show bandh nahi ho raha hai. Arey jab bandh hi nahi ho raha hum kya proof de kea b bandh nahi ho raha hai. Kyu ki humne jab stories daali thi insta par, woh thi shooting ka wrap ho gaya hai. It’s a wrap for the shoot. Ab media usko uchaal diya ki nahi it’s a wrap for the season, for the show but it’s not true.”
Even Rajiv Thakur added to this by pointing out, “but ek baat hai ki photo dekh ke bhi aapko samajh nahi aa rahi hai? Ache khase jinko paise aa rahe ho, woh naach-naach ke cake kaant ke apna show bandh karne ka photo dalenge? Chup karke bandh karke nikal nahi jayenge?”
Archana continued saying, “So yes it is something which is unnecessary, I think yeh aaj kal ka jo daur hai na, bhaiya kuch bhi boldo who headline ban jati hai, do dn ki news ban jati hai, papero mein itni jo jagah hoti hai woh bhar jati hai uss headline se…”
Rajiv interrupted and said, “Papero se zyada ma’am who Youtube wale hote hai na, unko woh viewership mil jati hai.”
When asked if there was some vested interest or vested parties who were deliberately doing this, the cast collectively disagreed with it.”
