MUMBAI: American superhero web television, The Umbrella Academy is back with the second season with a bang. Set to premiere on the OTT platform, Netflix on July 31, 2020, the trailer was dropped by the OTT platform on their YouTube channel just a couple of hours ago. Upping the excitement among the fans, the trailer of the second season is loaded with action, humour and a lot of mystery as the family travels back and forth in the time, thus creating hook elements for the show.
The Umbrella Academy is about a family with adopted siblings consisting of some super powers who come together to solve the unsolved mystery of their father’s death. Meanwhile, also tackling the much feared catastrophe on the planet earth. In this season, these siblings are torn apart by time, with the show beginning in 1960 and ending in 2019. The season will see the siblings swinging between some nuclear activities and apocalypse, making it more interesting to watch what happens next.

As the show saw tremendous success of its first season premiered in February 2019, the shoot for the second season commenced in June 2019 and wrapped up in November 2019.
As per Netflix claims, this American superhero web television series was watched by 45 million viewers in the first four weeks on its release. Based on the comic book of the same name, published by Dark Horse Comics, the second season assures to give you nail-biting moments, comprising 10 episodes.
