MUMBAI: Despite the pandemic slowing down production, Nawazudding Siddiqui has been a busy man. After winning over audiences with his performance in Raat Akeli Hai, the versatile actor returned to screens with Netflix’s Serious Men.
The Sudhir Mishra directorial follows Ayyan Mani, a celebrated scientist’s assistant who frequently laments his ‘under-privileged’ societal status. He sees an opportunity for escape when his son Adi is considered a genius by the entire country.
Siddiqui’s Midas touch seems intact, with critics as well as viewers accepting the film with open arms.

Watched #SeriousMen . Accolades to #SudhirMishra for such a multi dimensional work of art. So many relevant topics touched with such a fantastic acting by young child and ofcourse #NawazuddinSaddiqui . This can be an entry to the Oscars! Reminds me of #LifeIsBeautiful - Dark.

#SeriousMen is a relevant socio-political critique of our times, from Dalit politics to the education system, It doesn't spare any fraud-slot. Nawazuddin is usual & good, Indira Tiwari and the kid get the maximum marks.
