In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Atiya Tara Nayak opened up about her debut opportunity with the series and her experience. She also talked about why she chose OTT platform for her debut.

When asked about how she feel making a debut with the series and how there are other actors in the same boat, Atiya Nayak said, “I think for me it was really refreshing because, I think I’ve been very lucky to be a part of something like this for my first-ever show, something that I really believe on and the people working on the set whether it’s the director, the producers, my co-actors, it’s something we’re all very passionate about. Even the values that the show speaks about, the messaging that’s there, it’s all something that we collectively feel and strongly believe in…”

Being the daughter of Raj Nayak, ex-CEO of Colors, Atiya Tara Nayak decided to make her debut on OTT platform instead of on TV or in a movie. When asked about it, Nayak said, “So for me, it was and still is very important to do work that I genuinely connect with and believe in. So of course I’ve been auditioning for a long time and this was one of the first things I got and I really I had a good feeling about it and I am someone who watches a lot of OTT so I felt it would exciting to do something on a platform that so many people watch and I’m very keen to do OTT. Also, of course I am keen to do movies as well but even being Raj sir’s daughter it’s not that it came easily to me. I still had to audition a lot but I think this just show just felt very personal to me because if anyone who knows me, everybody knows that I’m very vocal about issues and I have strong opinions and I think the show just highlighted all of them. So I just think it was a perfect fit.”
